Brown butter then cool ~20 mins till warm in mixing bowl. Line pan with greaseproof paper.

Whisk into butter till glossy.

  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp bicarb
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • 0.25 tsp ground cloves
  • 0.25 tsp ground nutmeg

Step 3

Mix into the wet ingredients.

Step 4

Mix in. then pour mixture into greaseproof-lined pan (9x13").

Scatter over the top. Bake at 160°C fan for 30-45 mins. Cool in pan >= 1 hour.
